Bio
Yueyang Zhong is an Assistant Professor of Management Science and Operations at London Business School. She studies human-centered operations: how people behave in congested service systems, how that behavior can be learned from data, and how to design services where delay has real consequences, from hospitals to ride-hailing platforms. Before joining LBS in 2024 she was a Postdoctoral Principal Researcher at Yale School of Management and Chicago Booth, hosted by Prof. Vahideh Manshadi and Prof. Rad Niazadeh. She received her PhD in Operations Management from Chicago Booth in 2023, where she was advised by Prof. Amy Ward and Prof. John Birge. Prior to her PhD, Yueyang earned her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Tsinghua University in 2018.
